Deborah Taylor has lived in Arizona since 1976. She enjoys her time with her husband and three children, and takes advantage of the climate and terrain to mountain bike, hike, and dream of one day becoming a good golfer.
Deborah loves being a physical therapist and has the long and distinguished career to prove it. Upon her graduation from the University of Texas, Deborah accepted a job at Good Samaritan Hospital, where she stayed for five years. In 1981, she was lured away by St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, where she ultimately became manager of a variety of programs, including outpatient rehabilitation, sports medicine, cardiac pulmonary rehabilitation, and the pain program. Deborah had the opportunity to work and have experience with neurological disorders and rehabilitation and orthopedics.
In addition to working at Camelback Mountain Sports Medicine, Deborah also treats patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Muscular Dystrophy.
She also coauthored a book, Physical Therapy in Craniomandibular Disorder, with Dr. Tore Hanssen and Catherine Minor, PT. This has given her the opportunity to teach abroad and in the states. The book has been published in five languages.
