Rose Armstrong enjoys time with her family, plays a variety of sports,
and, as a graduate of the University of Iowa, is an avid Hawkeye fan.
At Iowa, she was a student athletic trainer, softball player, and
received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
After completing an athletic training internship at Drake University
in Des Moines, IA, Rose moved to Arizona and began her career as
a certified athletic trainer for the John C. Lincoln Institute for
Sports Medicine and the Paradise Valley High School District.
In 2000, she was offered a position as a clinical athletic trainer
for St. Joseph’s Center for Sports Medicine, where she began
working with physical therapist Natalie Semon and once again teamed
up with her at CMSM. Rose has utilized her certification in strength
and conditioning to develop sport-specific strengthening programs,
such as snow essentials and ACL prevention courses.
Today, Rose continues to put her skills to work on high school,
collegiate, and professional athletes as well as weekend warriors.
